Terms, not amounts
Ethereum casino bonuses: the terms worth reading before a deposit, with no figures
This page gives no bonus amounts, and that is the point of it. Amounts change, and a number copied here would be wrong before it was read. What lasts is the list of questions to put to a bonus before the deposit is sent.
One of those questions is specific to ether: a bonus is attached to a deposit, a deposit is a transfer, and a transfer costs gas whatever its size.
How does an ETH deposit bonus work?
In outline the same way as with any deposit method. The operator credits extra balance against a qualifying deposit and attaches conditions to it, usually a wagering condition that says how much must be bet before the bonus portion can be withdrawn. The conditions live in the operator's terms, and they are the part to read, not the headline.
Why a bonus is also a gas question
The fee for a transfer is the same whether it carries a small amount or a large one. A bonus that rewards several deposits therefore multiplies the fee you pay, and a bonus that needs only a small qualifying deposit makes the fee a large share of what you send. Neither is a reason to skip a bonus. Both are reasons to put the fee next to the bonus before deciding.
It is also worth checking which amount the bonus is measured on. Gas is paid by your wallet on top of the amount sent, so the account is credited the amount and the wallet is debited the amount plus the fee. A bonus counted on the credited amount ignores the fee entirely.
Does the route change what a bonus is worth?
It can. On an operator that offers several routes, such as Cloudbet or BetFury, the same deposit can cost very different fees depending on the lane, and a cheaper lane leaves more of a small deposit working. On an operator that names a single route, such as Rollbit or Duelbits, there is no lane to choose and the fee is whatever the main network charges that minute.
Codes, free spins and no-deposit offers
Pages that list codes and free spins for particular operators are quoting terms that change without notice, and this site does not. The check is the same whatever the offer: read the conditions in the operator's own terms, read what the offer says about withdrawals, and treat anything that arrives by message as unverified until the account itself shows it.
Questions that come up
| Does the gas fee count against a casino bonus? | Not in any way this site has seen stated. The fee is paid to the network from your wallet, outside the account, so the question to ask is which amount the bonus is measured on. |
|---|---|
| Is a small ETH deposit worth a bonus? | That depends on the fee against the amount. On a small deposit the fixed cost of a transfer is a large share of it. |
